As mentioned in the previous Developer Blog, in this post we will explain the details behind additional features which we hope will come in handy for our Closed Console Network Test. Some of you might have already taken advantage of some of these during the PC Network Test, but for those who haven't, here you go!
Unit-Specific Control Mapping
The GUNDAM EVOLUTION control settings allow you to fine-tune your unit's controls, be it calibrating movement sensitivity on the X and Y axes, or button mapping. But did you know that you can customize the controls for each individual unit?
You can customize the controls for individual units from the "Control Settings" menu
Since weapons and characteristics can vary greatly from unit to unit, we thought it was only natural that their controls should vary too. This means that you can have different control settings for each unit!
The reticle is more than just a dot in the middle of the screen. Far from it: I think it greatly impacts one's precision. So, why not allow players to customize this essential asset for each of their units? Lo and behold, the "Customize Reticle" setting!
You can customize the reticle from the middle of the "Control Settings" menu,
As you can see in the images above, there are lots of settings you can change, and we're confident that you'll be able to find a reticle that suits your needs.
Players who are already familiar with FPS games may recognize some of the available reticle patterns. We hope you will make extensive use of this feature and choose the reticle that's best for you.
